Formula DRIFT Championship

The 2012 event champion and currently running second in points this year, Vaughn Gittin, Jr. and Justin Pawlak, positioned in the top 10 of the points hunt, will represent Ford Motor Company in a pair of Ford Mustangs at Round Four of the Formula DRIFT championship on June 21-22, 2013 at Wall Stadium Speedway (Wall, N.J.). As an official partner of Formula DRIFT, Ford has amped up its involvement engaging the sport’s fans by providing them access to new Ford products at this season’s Formula DRIFT events.

“Formula DRIFT has become one of the most dynamic forms of action motorsports,” says Paul Brearey, Ford marketing manager for enthusiast events. “Everyone in the sport shares our passion for performance cars. Highlighting our terrific Mustang competitors lets us showcase how fantastic these cars are, as well as some of our other hot vehicles at the track.”

Cirro Energy, a subsidiary of Dominion Resources, is teaming up with The Shops at Willow Bend to provide families with summer entertainment opportunities by powering Summer Fun Thursdays, a series of six shows and events held most Thursdays from June 13 to July 25. The events include family oriented performances that are free of charge and open to the general public.

“In the Texas summertime heat, family entertainment options can be expensive and limited,” said Cindi Wakefield, spokesperson for Cirro Energy. “Performances included in Summer Fun Thursdays give families an opportunity to spend time together in a fun and whimsical environment. Cirro Energy is proud to help provide a great option for families to beat the heat.”
