SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – April 11, 2018 Barrett-Jackson announced that the Jerry’s of Alabama Collection will feature prominently on the final day of the 2018 Palm Beach Auction, April 12-15 at the South Florida Fairgrounds. The 16-car collection, scheduled to cross the block on Sunday, April 15, features a group of original and restored collectible vehicles, most with incredibly low mileage. Each vehicle from the Jerry’s of Alabama Collection is being offered at No Reserve.

“The Sunday addition of the Jerry’s of Alabama Collection will be a great way to round out a spectacular week in Palm Beach that includes a sold-out docket with over 700 vehicles,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “We added a fourth day to our Florida event to accommodate the expanding market we witnessed during our Scottsdale Auction, along with the John Staluppi Cars of Dreams and South Florida collections that are also on the docket. With over 700 vehicles headed for Palm Beach, combined with the many great automotive lifestyle activities throughout the week, we believe this will be one of our best Palm Beach Auctions ever.”

The Jerry’s of Alabama Collection, known for its Ford Mustangs, features a 2007 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible (Lot #957) with all of the available options. It is finished in triple black and has only 45 actual miles. Other well-maintained Ford Mustangs include a ’65 model (Lot #959) that underwent a nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration and was featured in Mustang Monthly. With only 197 original miles, a ’96 Ford Mustang Cobra (Lot # 959.1) was purchased new in 1996 and still has the factory plastic coverings on the seats.

“Jerry has been a close friend of the Barrett-Jackson family and we are excited to offer his collection to build on the many great opportunities for buyers, not just on Sunday, but throughout the entire auction,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “From some of the great ’50s and ’60s cars from the John Staluppi Cars of Dreams Collection to Resto-Mods, pickups and modern supercars, there are a great number of desirable cars on the docket that our diverse group of car fans will love.”
